I have been putting together a top ten Twitter tools list. First of all I would like to say that I never realized there were so many 3rd party Twitter applications out there. A lot of them are duplications of each other albeit some may have a small twist that discerns it from others.
I have broken them down into several categories. Functionality, automation, and design. My favorite so far is a program that falls in the functionality category called Tweet Deck. Tweet Deck puts your Twittering on steroids.
It opens a window that lets you create columns that you can customize and filter for example, when I am Twittering I have a column of "All Friends" which is what you would normally see, a column with "Replies" (same as the replies page in Twitter), but then I have one for "Fortunate 500" which are the students in Alex Jeffreys first coaching class, and then I have a column that is just a few select friends.
Pretty cool but this is only one feature. In the columns you see the avatar and tweets like normal Twittering. If you mouse over the avatar, 4 buttons pop up. Reply to this person, Direct Message to this person, Retweet this persons tweet, and Other Actions. The other actions brings up a drop down list with Follow, Unfollow, Email Tweet, translate, untranslate, add to group(column), view profile, search, favorite, mark as read, and delete.

Yippee!
Yesterday I managed to get hold of Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing Course, version 2.0 for nothing. Well, okay I had to pay $30 shipping charges but so what? Still an unbelievable deal. It was a no-brainer really.
This is the same course that Butterfly Marketing version 1.0 sold for $2,000 and the new version has been upgraded to include loads of additional material. This is the same course that my mentor Alex Jeffreys purchased a few years ago and comes highly recommended by Alex. If it’s good enough for Alex Jeffreys, it’s good enough for me, LOL.
No seriously, I’m already working through the manuscript that is available online in the Members’ Area and can already see the awesome potential. All my future efforts and projects will be completed by always referencing this powerful manual to make sure I am maximising my time and leveraging my efforts to the greatest effect. The content and strategies are as powerful as that and everyone should use it as a blueprint for how they deliver all content online. Period. Simple as that. And that’s from just the manuscript I have read; can’t wait to get the whole packages delivered to my Home :-)
Now I know there was an almighty mess with the launch and the servers all crashed. Now I am been polite here, LOL, because the launch was an unmitigated disaster plagued with all sorts of problems. However, every cloud has a silver lining. 50,000+ people tried to get only 5,000 copies but as a result of these problems Mike Filsaime has made a commitment that you can take advantage of.

Hi all,
I just want to talk about giveaways –do they work ?
I have been doing some split testing as to what piques peoples interest and have offered two different free giveaway packages.
I took on board what Alex and Linda Carol said about what to offer and what not to offer.
I have offered on the one hand, a very good package of 30 different quality PLR and MRR products, and on the other hand, a single product of my own.
The 30 product pack certainly attracted interest, but unfortunately there was a downside. A significant number of people de-subscribed almost immediately after downloading this attractive and good value package.
I was able to ascertain from their email addresses that they were more than likely taking the 30 product pack to split up and use themselves.
Quite a number of people seemed to take no notice of the double optin request, even though they must have realized that they would not be able to get the free offer without doing so.
After editing the optin form and making it clear, in huge red text, the necessity for the double optin, there was a slight increase in people doing so, but there was still a large number who didn’t. Why? There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason, why complete only part of the process if you want the free offer? Surely you do what you have to do, to get it?

Just a brief post today.
As regular visitors will no doubt tell the Blog looks totally different now than my original one when I started it at the start of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course way back at the end of November 2008.
Not got it quite as I wanted yet, but I will be tweaking the layout until I have it exactly as I want it. Let me know what you think.?
As always I appreciate your comments

Here is my third short motivational video - Motivational Moment Video #3, obviously. I was very conscious of keeping this video under 10 minutes, which I think is breaking strain time for most people. Everybody is so damn busy, me included. So, unfortunately, I had to chop some really funny stuff out.
If you are too busy to read my intro then just go straight to the video below…
If not, the video is in three parts:
The first part is my standard fare - I discuss an ancient Japanese samurai maxim that has so much truth - IF only people would realise it!
The second part is a continuation of my inclination to feature “special” people who I have met on the Alex Jeffreys Internet Marketing Coaching Course. You will recall that last month (yes! It was a MONTH ago!) I featured Lizzie “the Lizard” Dickinson, daughter of Hilary “Hils” Dickinson for a little bit of humour. Well, this month I have targetted another female - a feisty one at that! Watch part 2 and p155 yourself laughing at the things I say about my lovely friend.
Part three is TGM (er, that being me) in action doing some nasty things to people - just a short series of clips. I thought it was in keeping with the “samurai maxim” - so you will get to see me do some things with a sword and poleaxe a few guys. Oh, it’s all good fun (when I am the one handing out the punishment, that is). Never mind, I have been on the “receiving end” many times over the years. But… that was then… Ha! And this is NOW!
