Internet Marketing Tips #5 – Gary Simpson

This is SUPPOSED to be Internet Marketing Tip #5 but as it turned out – NO Internet Marketing tip today. I’m rarely stuck for words but this venue (the T&A Training Stage in the Excalibur Casino in Las Vegas) just proved too much… even for me! LOL!

I’m still trying to figure out why Las Vegas is called SIN CITY! Can anyone explain that?

StomperNet Live 8 starts tomorrow at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta. The entire Stompernet team will be there along with an incredible line up of speakers that includes, Rich Schefren, Russell Brunson, and Jeff Johnson just to name a few.

Here is the cool part. I just got an invite from a friend of mine who has a free ticket that I can have. He also mentioned that he and "some friends" would be going over to Brad Fallen's one night. I took that to imply that I could join them. Pretty awesome huh?

Well, here is the really crappy part. There is no way in hell that I will be able to make it. Even though my Mother and my children from my previous marrige, (both in there twenties), live in Atlanta. I just took a 2 week vacation a month ago, so getting time off from my job is not an option.

The drive from West Palm is about 10 – 11 hours. If I left after work on Friday I would roll into ATL at about 3 or 4 in the morning. I would probably sleep through most of Stompernet on Saturday. Likewise, I have to be at work early Monday morning so that pretty much shoots Sunday in the foot.

Internet Marketing Tips #4 – Gary Simpson

Well, HELLO THERE! Here I am with yet another one of my short videos about Internet Marketing Tips. This is number 4 in an ongoing series. I hope you are enjoying watching these and maybe learning something – even if that’s only how nutty I can be.

If you have seen Internet Marketing Tips #1 then you might recall that in it there was a certain truck with a billboard on the side advertising… hmm… shall we say… “Ladies of the Night.” Well, I have only just noticed that vehicle makes yet another appearance in the background of this video. So… does it just chuck bog-laps (Aussie term for doing a continuous circuit looking for “like-minded people”) around the strip or was it following ME?

Anyway, this short video is all about taking ACTION. Lemme ask you this – do you want to wear out or would you rather just rust out? The choice is yours.

Speaking of choice… if you don’t yet have my free e-book “The Power of Choice” then you are seriously missing out on some MAJOR motivation. And if you don’t have my ACTION Planner well, why make it difficult for yourself when I have made it SO EASY for you to plan and achieve. (How do you think I crank out these mega valuable free e-books so fast? Huh?)

Anyway, sit back and enjoy the video – watch for the truck and also the TGM tee-shirt (which I forgot I was even wearing until prompted).

Well, here I go again – Internet Marketing Tips #3. This video is a little unusual in that – rather than saying anything about Internet Marketing per se – what I am trying to convey here is a bit of emotion and demonstrate the friendships that can be made with other people by attending these events.

This video was taken out the front of the Luxor Hotel Casino resort in Las Vegas. In the opening you will see Nikki Stephens of www.NikkiStephens.com and Paula Brett of www.Paula-Brett.com having a little cuddle (and a tear or two). Then I get in on the act (along with my usual ribald comments – er sorry about the reference to you-know-who and you-know-what Paula – I didn’t mean it! PMSL).

It was an emotional moment and I felt rather sad when Paula left us. Meeting friends like this is one of the GREAT benefits of attending these events. Paula and Nikki and I are very good friends and the three of us and many of the other attendees at the Internet Marketing seminars have all kept in contact with each other since. It was wonderful meeting these ladies and all the other great folks in Las Vegas.

New Plans, Goals and Helping You!

Well it has been a while since my last post.

Sorry about that, but as you can probably gather from my announcement in my prior post about my new position as Alex Jeffreys’ Operation’s Manager things have been a bit hectic to say the least,  (Understatement of the year!) I’ve certainly been very busy making sure everything goes smoothly for the new intake of Coaching Students but it has certainly been worthwhile; What a great group of people we have and the new exclusive private Members Forum has been a great place to mix with like minded individuals and an invaluable resource for everyone.

Now short-term this has meant I have had to postpone some of my plans for expanding my own business and put some of my ideas on the back-burner. But this ’pause’ in my rapid progress is to be welcomed as it gives me an opportunity to reevaluate my own plans and goals and update them to reflect the big changes in my situation. Anyone who has been on Alex Jeffeys Coaching Course will realise Organisation, Planning, Setting Goals and Targets, coupled with the right Mindset is key to success in building your online business. This is taught very early on in the Coaching and the students who have grasped this FULLY and IMPLEMENTED it are the ones that will go on to have the most success. Now notice the emphasis on ‘FULLY’ and ‘IMPLEMENTED’ in that prior sentence. You see there is a vast difference between intellectually knowing something to be true, fully agreeing with it but then only paying ‘lip-service’ to it. To succeed you have to make these disciplines part of your everyday habits. Once they are part of your everyday habits then you will begin to make solid progress towards the targets and goals you have set yourself.

Here is the second Internet Marketing tips video that I shot while in Las Vegas. In this one – filmed at the Luxor Hotel Casino – I pull the p155 out of all the people who sit mindlessly in front of all those stupid gambling machines stuffing every last cent they have into them.

WTF is it about those machines? Very, very RARELY do they ever pay out. And even when they do most people shove it all back in and lose it all again anyway. I’m thinking that gambling is a disease of obsession.

The waste of money is bad enough but the waste of time, in my opinion, is obscene. Sitting in front of a dopey machine, for hour upon boring hour, pressing buttons while the machine gobbles up every cent you put in it is utter madness. You CANNOT win. [The machines are programmed for about a 4% (lowly) payout.] So, what is it? Entertainment? If that’s the case then I’m suggesting you can sit in front of another machine where you can actually LEARN something. It’s called a computer.

In Internet Marketing Tips #2 I’m also reviewing Omar Martin’s and Mike Filsaime’s “Internet Selling For Newbies” which is advertised on this blog. At least in Internet Marketing you have the opportunity to make some money – and keep yourself entertained and LEARN some new skills. You can see a link to Omar and Mike’s great product over in the left hand column on this blog. Check it out.
