Well, I hope you have been enjoying my Internet Marketing tips from Las Vegas. This one is about getting yourself a mentor.

Now, I’ve been hinting about the existence of this video (and others) for a while now. You are in for a surprise here – oh yeah! Here I am in the spa at my luxury apartment suite at the Luxor Casino. The luxury Luxor. Oh, watch for what I do at the end… (You know something? … I can hardly believe I do these things myself *sigh* I mean – seriously – I don’t know what possesses me sometimes. Well, my Internet Marketing topic for today may be a little boring for you but…

… this is just SO important. In fact, I have been thinking about it off and on most of the weekend. I wasn’t even gonna write it. Then I thought – yeah, it’s boring to me and it’s obvious to me but then I have been around the block a few times with this Internet Marketing caper. I’ve seen a lot in Internet Marketing stuff in my travels and what may be blatantly obvious to me and even boring may, in fact, be a revelation to others. So, here it is…

BE YOURSELF.

Startling stuff hey? Well read on, I have some ideas and observations to throw at you and maybe a little bit of humor too…

Don’t be a clone of Alex Jeffreys or Mike Filsaime or Stephanie Mulac or Rich Schefren or John Thornhill or Dave Nicholson or Paula Brett or Omar Martin or Rosalind Gardner or Maria Andros or Garry Parkes or Dean Holland or even me for that matter! (heaven help you!)

WHY?

Because YOU are UNIQUE. There is NOBODY exactly the same as you in the entire world! You have unique talents. You have a unique way of expressing yourself. Some people will find you hideously irritating. Some will find you arrogant. Some will find you boring. Some will like you. Some may even find you enchanting. Some might even get so fixated on you that they will stalk you. Yeah, it happens. Social media networking is a real tutti-fruiti haven for cyber-stalkers. But that is a subject I will cover a bit later on. Back to the subject at hand…

After the dreadful event that I had to comment on in the last post it is now my PLEASURE to present you with a nice little video that was taken at the Fremont Center in Las Vegas, Nevada a couple of months ago.

Under the guise (LOL) of working in the Internet Marketing business that I run, here is a quick look around the Fremont Area. Oh I manage to make it all (semi) relevant by talking about writing e-books. In fact, I make mention of a really nice e-book that a friend of mine has written – ie Nikki Stephens from www.NikkiStephens.com. It’s a very nice dissertation about all the different social networking sites.

Well today I have something very different to the positive information and encouragement that I normally post for you. Today I am going to expose copyright theft and NAME a copyright thief. Yep. This person has really PISSED me off!

This is not just an infringement against me. It’s an infringement against EVERY author who posts their articles and e-books and other written material on the Internet. It should be a BIG CONCERN for every author of unique material.

But first, the proof…

A lady (Anna) emailed me overnight telling me this…

“Dear Sir

I believe that your article The Benefit of Having a Goal Worth Failing For has been stolen by author LeeDavidhcz. Perhaps others have been stolen by this person as well.

So far, every single article I have checked out by LeeDavidhcz has been stolen.

To check these, I put quotation marks around the title of the article and then typed in LeeDavidhcz and that is how I see many hundreds of articles come up that were stolen.”

Just ONE of LeeDavidhcz’s copyright thefts concerns this article http://ezinearticles.com/?id=72770 which I wrote on September 19, 2005. It’s called “The Benefit of Having a Goal Worth Failing For.” If you click that link and scan down the page you will see that it has been viewed 977 times and it has a 5/5 star rating. So, it’s a fairly popular article.
